Velvet Lip Tint (3CE) Near and Dear
When you have this dry and patched looking lips, you need to have this specially formulated moisturizing option of a liptint. Near and dear shade has a mauve pink color that makes it look very natural, seeming to have no make-up at all.
According to Stylenanda, “Velvet lip tint incorporates an oil-packed formula specially made to deliver a vivid and velvety matte texture. When this tint is applied, the lips are first encased with a layer of oil upon with pigments gently melt, resulting in a dewy sensation with a matte finish.”
This product has actually lived off to its description, since when applied it has a very soft and weightless feel even when you do a full lip. On its applicator tip its moussey but when on lips it becomes matte. Its simplicity and natural look made ‘Near and Dear’ my daily favorite shade.
The packaging is colour-coded to the shade and its texture is the same matte finish as well.
The product does transfer, but it doesn’t leave you with dry patches or weird residue. It actually wears off quite naturally. Although it is called a tint, I don’t think that it really stains my lips.
For me, its easy to wear that fits my preferences but I admit that I wouldn’t recommend this as something you wear on special and formal occasions
I got the product online for 970 pesos, yes, very pricey for a liptint but again, I go for what works out the best for me than bargaining cheap
(I just knew there are fake ones of this brand)
I have used it everyday since my birthday, for almost 6 months now, and I am quite generous in applying it maybe for my next restock of lipshade, I’d try for other brands with the same feel.
